Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort

Home is Where You Park It.

This is our second stay at the resort. The first time was over the Thanksgiving holiday where we stayed two nights. On this visit in April we chose seventeen nights.

The resort location is in the heart of the island. To the north are several public beaches with free parking, and an abundance of restaurants; toward the south is Sea Pines and Harbour Town offering access for a fee.

There are 400 sites in this resort yet it does not feel crowded. Landscaping between sites and an overall tree covered resort create a privacy.

I chose site 118 because it backs up to the resort boundary making it convenient for doggie business and for a bit of breathing space.

Shots of home away from home. In addition to the site backing up to the "woods" it is furnished with dining table, seating area, gas grill, gas fireplace, and umbrellas. We discovered that the umbrellas have Bluetooth speakers in them; that is a bonus!

A video of the evening. All of the sites have landscape lighting. There are no street lights in the resort.

Most of the people staying at the resort have dogs making the doggie parades by our site entertaining for our country dogs. And speaking of country dogs...they are freaks and will not poop everyday while on "vacation". At home they are used to doing their business without being leashed up. So since they are leashed all the time at the resort they will hold their poop for days. We just don't understand them. Ah, life with creatures that have their own minds.
