A busy weekend in the bubble.
Friday the 13th was hot! Not only was the temperature over eighty degrees once the sun went down, the Yarable Smashers were playing live outside at Lone Wolfe Brewing Co. Our friend's son plays drums in the band, and we get a kick out of going to see them live. It gives us a chance to see many young people out having fun.
Here is clip of the early evening mellow...
A clip of a bit more sriracha hot...
It was a fun evening. We stayed to the very end; a big night out on the town here in our raging metropolis.
After taking it easy on Saturday, we eased into a lovely Sunday meeting up with friends out at an island home because Last Chance can now fit under the bridge!
Long time friends JB & TC invited us out to Little Bear Island for cocktails and dinner. It is always fun to catch up with these two.
Our friend JB did not disappoint in cracking us up with his impersonations and sensational stories laced with F-Bombs Lol!!!
Here is our route. Green line to the island, and purple line back home. For us it about a 35 minute boat ride. (For JB in his speed boat it is probably 15 minutes.)
The destination is Hole in the Wall. It is literally a narrow channel between two islands where there is a constant boat parade. Your arm gets tired of waving at all of the boats going by.
What a great way to spend the evening. Good friends, laughs, and great weather.
Here is a video of our ride to and from with a quick tour of the house location. It may make you dizzy as I whipped around too fast while on the deck.
Thanks for taking a look at this post, photos, and video. I (Wine) do these posts and videos for fun. I hope you get a kick out them.
As always, we live a life we don't need a vacation from. Life is what you make of it!
